Nikola Debeljački was appointed Director of the Energy and Construction Department at DECO d.o.o. in 2023.
Nikola joined the company in 2017, served as Managing Director of HTP Mont (a DECO subsidiary), Project Director, and Project Manager within the company.
Nikola brings over a decade of international experience in engineering and construction, having led multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex, large-scale projects across Europe, the Middle East, and the Russian Federation. His expertise spans project management, strategic operations, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on delivering technically sound and commercially successful solutions.
He has a distinguished track record in leading the delivery of complex, high-value international projects across the energy, construction, and industrial sectors, including major initiatives such as the Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) facility in Serbia, an advanced oncology centre in Saudi Arabia, state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, and the large-scale Yamal LNG development in Russia.
In addition to his operational leadership, Mr. Debeljački has overseen company department-wide strategy development, budget planning, and cross-border project execution, ensuring alignment with international standards and legal frameworks.
He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade. In addition to his academic background, Nikola has strengthened his leadership capabilities and broadened his strategic perspective through a series of advanced professional qualifications. He obtained a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, CMI Level 7 diploma, a Certificate in the Project Risk Management Development – A Way to Avoid Crisis Management and Management Losses, and a Certificate for completing the Negotiation Masterclass delivered by Ex Facie Negotiation Consultants and City College. He also earned an ACES Diploma in Advanced Management and Administration of FIDIC Contracts, further integrating his engineering expertise with modern business strategy and contract-management practices.
He is fluent in Serbian, professionally proficient in English, and has basic proficiency in Russian.
