Dejan Jovičić was appointed Chief Financial Officer of DECO Engineering in 2023, bringing more than two decades of senior financial leadership across FMCG, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and construction services. With extensive experience in financial strategy, project financing, and operational transformation, he oversees finance, accounting, and IT functions while supporting DECO’s complex engineering and construction projects in Serbia, Germany, Greece, and the wider region.
Throughout his career, Dejan has held executive roles in multi-market and multinational companies, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, implementing group-wide reporting systems, and driving financial governance in fast-growing and restructuring environments. He introduced strategic planning frameworks and delivered major financing initiatives in cooperation with OeEB and EBRD. He also led key ERP and information-systems transformations and established comprehensive financial and accounting standards.
His earlier professional roles further strengthened his expertise in profitability modelling, working-capital optimization, multi-market oversight, and strategic decision support.
Dejan has managed regional finance teams, supported major investment programs, and driven cross-functional initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Dejan graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, and completed the General Management Program at the Mokra Gora School of Management. He is a member of the Association of Financial Directors of Serbia (UFDS). Fluent in English and highly skilled in advanced financial and ERP systems, he continues to champion financial discipline, sustainable growth, and strong corporate governance.
