Scope handled
- Acting in the role of Project Management
- Support of MPW engineering structure with local staff (civil, mechanical, electrical, QA/QC engineers etc.)
- Designing phase (monitoring the complete designing process for PGD/PZI permits in accordance with applicable Serbian legislation)
- Execution phase (monitoring and coordination of local portion of works)
- QA/QC phase (establishing procedures for upcoming usage permit process)
Key Features
- Desulphurization plant covers four major units (A3–A6) with a total capacity of 1.345,5 MW, utilizing the wet limestone process to produce gypsum as a by-product.
- Designed reduction of sulphur dioxide by 95%
- Two limestone slurry spayed absorbers diameter 22m and height 34m
- Wet Stack height – 140 m
- Each FGD unit is one of the largest in the world, with a 3.444.200 Nm3/h capacity.
Project Highlights
In cooperation with technology owner (Mitsubishi Power) project successfully delivered through difficult period of corona pandemic, with minimum impact to timeline and cost.
The construction of the FGD plant at TENT A is a major environmental investment for the country, significantly reducing pollution from the power plant.
