Ivan Jovanović, as an experienced electrical systems designer and supervisor with over two decades of expertise in the design and execution of electrical installations and the implementation of automation systems (BMS–EMS), was appointed Project Manager of the Pharma Department at DECO Engineering. Since 2003, he has been serving as Electrical Systems Designer and Supervisor where he leads multidisciplinary teams responsible for the installation and maintenance of power and automation systems across industrial and commercial facilities.
Throughout his career, Ivan has overseen all phases of project delivery – from planning and development of high- and low-voltage system documentation to execution and final quality control – ensuring full compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements. He is recognized for optimizing project workflows through efficient resource and deadline management, as well as for enhancing building functionality and energy efficiency by applying advanced electrical and automation technologies.
Prior to joining DECO, he worked as a CAD Designer where he developed technical drawings and production documentation for public lighting poles, customized designs according to project specifications, and ensured quality control before production release.
Ivan’s professional strengths include project management, strategic planning and execution, and advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, e-Design, and Dialux Evo.
His expertise is grounded in continuous professional development and extensive practical experience across diverse projects.
He completed his education at the Electrotechnical High School in Kraljevo in 1998 and further strengthened his professional credentials by passing the Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) professional exam in 2009 and the Fire Protection professional exam in 2013.
Ivan is fluent in English and is recognized as a reliable and innovative professional dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
