Ivana Janić, appointed as QA/QC Manager at DECO Engineering in 2020, is a licensed Structural Engineer and experienced QA/QC Manager with over 15 years of expertise in civil, structural, and industrial engineering projects across the oil & gas, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. She has built her career on delivering high-quality, technically compliant works on some of the region’s most complex construction and modernization projects, including the Pančevo Oil Refinery, the TENT B Flue Gas Desulphurization facility, and large-scale infrastructure upgrades in both public and industrial environments.
Throughout her career, Ivana has held key roles in quality assurance, quality control, and site supervision, consistently ensuring that all project phases-design, construction, documentation, and final acceptance-comply with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. She has established QA/QC procedures, coordinated inspection and test plans, managed certification processes, and prepared complete documentation for Technical Committee approvals and project handovers.
Her experience spans civil and structural supervision, contractor coordination, technical documentation management, and financial monitoring.
She has worked on high-sensitivity projects such as the Tiršova Children’s Hospital, where construction was conducted under strict cultural-heritage and HSE conditions, as well as major industrial projects including refinery modernization and large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Ivana holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a professional engineering license (No. 410 G784 12). She is fluent in English and highly skilled in interpreting technical documentation, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that complex engineering works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
