Katarina Živanović is a senior financial and accounting professional with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting operations, and financial consulting across regional companies and international professional organizations. A certified accountant and tax advisor, she has built her career on establishing, optimizing, and supervising financial and accounting processes, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, IAS, and transfer-pricing regulations.
Since 2012, Katarina has served as Head of Accounting at DECO Group, where she leads accounting operations, tax compliance, financial reporting, internal controls, and cost-controlling functions. She oversees all statutory and tax obligations for the group, implements accounting policies and procedures, and ensures accuracy, transparency, and consistency in financial reporting. Known for reliability, discretion, and a strong command of financial regulations, she plays a key role in supporting management decision-making and maintaining the company’s financial integrity.
Before joining DECO, she held leadership roles where she managed full-cycle accounting, VAT calculation, reporting systems, production cost accounting, and legislative alignment with IAS/IFRS standards.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a Manager at the Accounting Society, organizing professional seminars and representing the organization.
Katarina holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is certified by the Serbian Association of Accountants and Auditors. She also holds a tax advisor certificate from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Fluent in English and an active member of professional associations, she continues to promote high standards in financial management, compliance, and organizational accountability.
