Vuk Popović was appointed HSE Manager at DECO Engineering in 2021, where he leads health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) operations across major energy and infrastructure projects in Serbia. Prior to this, he held senior HSE roles bringing over 18 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and the CIS region.

Vuk has delivered HSEQ leadership on high-profile industrial, oil & gas, and high-tech construction projects, including the Nikola Tesla TPP B FGD Plant, the World Bank–funded Torlak BSL-3 Laboratory, and the Yamal LNG megaproject in Russia. He has successfully implemented ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and World Bank standards, and is known for cultivating proactive safety cultures and driving contractor compliance across complex, multi-national teams.

His notable achievements include achieving zero LTIs under Arctic conditions at Yamal LNG, reducing incident rates by 25% in Qatar, and deploying regional HSE frameworks across Eastern Europe. 

He has also led emergency preparedness programs, heavy lifting operations, and post-audit compliance initiatives across multiple sectors.

Vuk holds an OSHA 30h certification and the Serbian National HSE License, and is currently completing the NEBOSH International General Certificate. He is fluent in English and Serbian, with working proficiency in Russian.
